LEGAZPI CITY, Albay: Jeroen Meijers of Taiyuan Miogee Cycling Team claimed his first victory outside Europe after topping the 822.2-kilometer, five stages Le Tour de Filipinas 2019 on Tuesday here.
The 26-year-old Meijers clocked 20 hours, 28 minutes and seven seconds to rule the general classification (GC) and donned the coveted Air21 purple jersey.
