Baser Amer’s lay-up allowed Meralco to slip past Columbian Dyip, 109-106, in the opening day of Season 43 Philippine Basketball Association Governors’ Cup on Wednesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
The Bolts are holding a slim 106-100 lead in the last three minutes but the Columbian Dyip managed to force a 106-all deadlock behind Glenn Khobutin’s drive with 1:15 remaining. Amer replied with a driving lay-up with a minute left giving the lead back to the Bolts.
