President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed to the Supreme Court (SC) as associate justice the Court of Appeals (CA) magistrate who evicted the Prietos and Rufinos in the controversial Mile Long Property case.
CA Justice Jose Reyes Jr. will be replacing the recently-retired SC Associate Justice Presbitero Velasco Jr., who stepped down on August 8, Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go said in a message to reporters on Friday.
