THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Monday assured the public that there were enough soldiers to secure the midterm elections on May 13.

About 30,000 to 40,000 soldiers will be sent off on Tuesday from Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City in ceremonies to be led by Armed Forces Chief Benjamin Madrigal Jr., Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Oscar Albayalde and Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sheriff Abas.
