THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sees the hand of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) in some groups opposing the Duterte administration and its policies, confirming its lead role in an alleged ouster plot.

“They are infiltrating the labor groups, unions in private organizations to conduct strikes and exploiting issues,” Col. Edgard Arevalo, AFP spokesman, told reporters in a news conference at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Monday.
