Miss Intercontinental twins a first in pageant history

Never had it happened before that twins compete in the same international beauty pageant representing two different countries.

Since the presentation of the 87 candidates of the 47th Miss Intercontinental to the media on January 10 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel, Miss Albania Arvanita Peci and Miss Kosovo Arjanita Peci — both 20, Kosovo natives but now Germany residents — have caught the attention of beauty pageant aficionados throughout the world.
