THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will suspend the full implementation of the single-car ban traffic scheme but will continue its dry-run until it meets with the mayors on August 23.
MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia said on Friday that the Metro Manila Council (MMC), comprised of mayors and the MMDA chairman, was cognizant of the apprehension of the Senate when it filed a resolution on Wednesday to stop the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) scheme that prohibits driver-only vehicles from passing through EDSA during the rush hour.
