THE number of Filipino households with savings increased slightly in the fourth quarter of 2018, data from a nationwide Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) poll showed.

According to the latest Consumer Expectations Survey (CES), 32.8 percent of the 5,411 respondents said they had money set aside, up from 32.5 percent in the previous quarter.
