MORE than 5,000 policemen will be deployed by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) to secure the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping this week, with the Presidential Security Group (PSG) taking the lead.

Chief Supt. Benigno Durana Jr., spokesman for the Philippine National Police (PNP), said police would be securing the areas where the Chinese leader would go, the route and place where he would be billeted.
