Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are expected to benefit from opportunities that will arise from the newly signed Personal Property Security Act, the central bank’s Investor Relations Office (IRO) said.

In a statement issued during the weekend, the IRO said the law’s immediate operationalization was necessary to help MSMEs, which account for about 66 percent of total jobs in the country and 99.6 percent of all Trade department-registered businesses.
