The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) welcomes submission of novels, poem and epic for the Rolando S. Tinio Translator’s Prize. The prize aims to provide a huge avenue on texts and compositions interpretation and translation from different language to Filipino for better understanding of Filipino readers.
The Rolando S. Tinio Translator’s Prize is according to NCCA’s mandate to “encourage and monitor a comprehensive translation program which shall make works by Filipinos and selected foreign classics equally accessible to Filipino as well as international readers” (section 12.c.4, RA 7356).
