AS the country celebrates Labor Day this Wednesday, Bishop Gerardo Alminaza of the San Carlos diocese in Negros Occidental is seeking justice for nine sugar workers who were killed in what he calls a “senseless” attack on a plantation in Sagay town last year.
“We especially remember the Sagay 9 whose murder has not been given justice until today,” Alminaza said in his Labor Day message.
