BACOLOD CITY: Negros Occidental is bracing itself for a possible outbreak of the deadly dengue virus as the Department of Health (DoH) on Monday declared an outbreak in Western Visayas.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd approved on Monday the recommendation of the DoH-Center for Health Development (CHD) in Region 6 to declare an outbreak in the region.
