Foreign portfolio investments hit a net inflow of $266.63 million as of mid-November, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) data showed on Friday, rebounding from a net outflow posted a year earlier.

The central bank’s latest update on “hot money” — so called due to the ease by which the funds can be taken in and out of an economy — put year-to-date inflows at $13.321 billion against total outflows of $13.054 billion.
