Ombudsman recalls suspension orders vs mayors facing ‘green ‘ cases

The Office of the Ombudsman recalled decisions ordering the suspension of several mayors and other individuals in view of its ongoing review of environmental cases.

“The suspension orders were recalled because there is a need to further study or for congress to revisit the law on solid waste management,” Ombudsman Samuel Martires told reporters on Monday.
