A P2.5-billion deal with a joint venture will help stabilize power supply in Zamboanga City, according to the National Electrification Administration (NEA).
NEA Administrator Edgardo Masongsong on Thursday said Zamboanga City residents stand to be spared soon from rotating brownouts after the awarding of an investment management contract (IMC) to the joint venture of Crowninvestment Holdings Inc. and Desco Inc. to help resolve business and financial woes of Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative Inc. (Zamcelco).
