ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Officials of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Philippine Air Lines (PAL) executives have visited the southern province of Sulu and inspected the renovated airport in the capital town of Jolo following proposals to resume commercial flights there.

Officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) also accompanied the group whom Gov. Toto Tan and other provincial and municipal officials welcomed on Monday for talks in resuming flights from Sulu to Zamboanga and vice versa.
