SENATOR Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan may be appointed head of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) by November 12 to avoid an ad interim appointment, Senate President Vicente Sotto 3rd said on Wednesday.
In a media forum in Malate, Manila, Sotto said that there has been an “overture” from the Palace for “sometime” to invite Sen. Honasan to head DICT but was put off because “we need Sen. Greg pa [yet] in the Senate.”
