MALACANANG on Wednesday said it would respect the decision of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) upholding the 25-percent ballot shading threshold in the recount between Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo and former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
In a television interview, Spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said the Palace would not comment further on the ruling, saying that President Rodrigo Duterte was not a party to the electoral case.
