Local candidates in Lanao del Sur have signed a covenant for free, honest, credible, orderly and peaceful elections on May 13.
Representatives from the Commission on Elections (Comelec), Ministry of Local Government (MLG), Philippine National Police, the military and other stakeholders, along with 128 candidates vying for provincial, city and municipal positions, joined ceremonies organized by the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ 103rd Infantry Brigade (103rd IB) in Lanao del Sur for the signing of a peace covenant.
