PETRON Corp. has generated P20 billion in fresh funds from its shares offer on the back of strong investor demand.

In a filing on Monday, the listed oil company said it sold 20 million of Series 3 perpetual preferred shares, higher than the 15 million it initially targeted to sell. The offer was completed on June 18. The shares cost P1,000 each.
