THE Philippines’ agricultural output dropped by 0.83 percent in the third quarter of the year compared to a year ago because of the typhoons that hit the country during the period, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said.
In its quarterly Performance of Philippine Agriculture report, the PSA said the figure was significantly lower than the 2.32 percent growth in the same period last year.
