THE PHILIPPINES and China signed 29 agreements, including oil and gas development, on Tuesday at the beginning of a two-day state visit that Chinese President Xi Jinping described as a “milestone in the history of exchange” between the two counties.

Duterte and Xi witnessed the signing and exchange of the agreements between the Philippines and China after the two leaders’ expanded bilateral meeting in Malacañang.
