THE Philippine government and an Israeli firm signed an oil exploration deal that would cover an area east of Palawan province, Malacañang said on Thursday.
President Rodrigo Duterte, together with Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, signed the petroleum service contract (PSC) for Area 4 (East Palawan Basin) of the Fifth Philippine Energy Contracting Round (PECR5) with Israel's Ratio Petroleum Ltd. President and Chief Executive Officer Itay Raphael Tabibzada during a ceremony in Malacañang on Wednesday.
