The Philippines’ Woman FIDE Master Allaney Jia Doroy halved the point with Woman International Master Dewi Ardhiani Citra of Indonesia to remain in the top 10 after five rounds of the seventh Asian Continental Chess Championships (second Manny Pacquiao Cup) at the Tiara Hotel in Makati Friday night.

Doroy, 17, has hiked her total to three points, which was good enough for her to keep a share of 10th spot with six other wood pushers and remained as the country’s best performer in this tournament backed by National Chess Federation of the Philippines president Butch Pichay, Sen. Manny Pacquiao and the PH Sports Commission.
