Pimentel reminds Executive to act on implementing rules and regulations of Ease of Doing Business Act

REELECTIONIST Sen. Aquilino Pimentel 3rd on Friday urged the Executive branch to immediately act on the pending Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the Ease of Doing Business Act.

"It [IRR] is pending in the Office of the President. I think if he approves that this year, it will be felt starting first quarter of the year because that is usually the time for filing permits and applications so there is a need to immediately take action," Pimentel said on the sidelines of the Innovation and Best Practices in Achieving Ease of Doing Business held on Friday at the Conrad Manila.
