More than 6,000 drug suspects have been killed since the Duterte administration launched its campaign against illegal drugs in 2016, according to data from the Philippine National Police (PNP) shown on Tuesday.

Based on the figures presented during the command conference at Camp Crame in Quezon City, the headquarters of the PNP, 1,530,574 suspected drug users and pushers had been accounted for and of this number, 6,600 died during police operations; 240,565 were arrested; and 1,283,409 yielded voluntarily to authorities.
