The Philippine National Police (PNP) will shift from search, rescue, and recovery operations to enforcement of law and order to help restore and rehabilitate areas affected by Typhoon Ompong.
PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde said on Monday morning that they will enforce regulations on fair trade the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has imposed against hoarders, profiteers and illegal trade practices, to make sure consumer goods are available in the market for affected civilians.
