Officer in Charge Eduardo Año of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday sacked the director of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) over allegations that upperclassmen had forced their underclassmen to perform oral sex on them.

Año ordered the removal of Chief Supt. Joseph Adnol for command responsibility and to allow an impartial investigation, DILG spokesman Jonathan Malaya said in a statement.
