SEN. Maria Josefa Imelda “Imee” Marcos has sought an inquiry into the reported human trafficking at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), which she said was one of the reasons behind the influx of illegal aliens in the country.
The senator recently filed Senate Resolution 15 directing the proper committee to investigate the proliferation of illegal aliens in violation of the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940.
