The stock market returned to the 7,000 level on Friday as investors took heart from a fresh policy rate hike and overnight gains on Wall Street.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose by more than 2 percent during intraday trading before paring gains to end up 1.88 percent or 130.75 points at 7,083.34.
