THE stock market retreated on Tuesday as investors sold off positions after the government released its inflation report, while Ayala Land Inc. helped weigh down the market.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) traded most of the day in the green territory before ending the day down 0.46 percent or 33.33 points at 7,180.11.
