THE stock market retreated on Tuesday as investors repositioned portfolios ahead of the results of US Federal Reserve and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) policy meetings.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) dropped by 0.38 percent or 29.61 points to close at 7,843.41. The broader All Shares declined by 0.25 percent or 12.13 points to finish at 4,833.29.
