THE stock market fell back to the 7,900 level on Wednesday with investors said to be in wait-and-see mode ahead of a US Federal Reserve announcement and the start of high-level US-China trade talks.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) lost 70.87 points or 0.88 percent to close at 7,979.95. The wider All Shares decreased by 0.66 percent or 32.19 points to 4,824.53.
