Philippine Telegraph and Telephone Co. (PT&T) owes the government almost half a billion pesos in fees, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) said, a claim that the telecommunications company (telco) disputed.
In a decision written last Friday and released to the media on Monday, the state-run agency said the third major telco aspirant needed to settle more than P443.79 million in outstanding supervision and regulation fees (SRF) and interest incurred from 2002 to 2017.
