LOS ANGELES: Jon Rahm had two eagles on his front nine in a sizzling 10-under 62 on Thursday (Friday in Manila) to grab a one-shot lead at the Farmers Insurance Open where Tiger Woods is making his 2019 debut.

Spain’s Rahm, whose first win on the US PGA Tour came at this event two years ago, is one stroke ahead of world number one Justin Rose and American Doug Ghim, who both shot nine-under 63s.
