Five coastal areas remain positive for the red tide toxin, with Palawan waters added to the list, according to the latest laboratory results of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
In its latest bulletin, the agency said Puerto Princesa Bay, Puerto Princesa City, in Palawan is now positive for red tide toxin.
