A scion of the Reyes family lost her bid for the governorship of Camarines Norte to Gov. Edgardo Tallado in the May 13 midterm elections.
Former representative Catherine Barcelona Reyes’ defeat left the electorate confused about Tallado’s victory because his certificate of candidacy (CoC) was canceled by the First Division of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) a few days before the polls.
