SEN. Joseph Victor Ejercito on Monday vowed to push for the restoration of the P16-billion budget for the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) for 2019 of the Department of Health (DoH) when Congress resumes session on January 14.

Ejercito, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, said the zero-budget for HEEP was “anti-poor” and a “great disservice to the people.”
