GOKONGWEI-LED Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. (RRHI) has increased its ownership in convenience store brand Ministop Philippines following the acquisition of an 8-percent stake from a Japan-based conglomerate.

RRHI told the Philippine Stock Exchange on Monday that it had entered into a share purchase agreement with Mitsubishi Corp. for the sale of the latter’s 161.05 million shares in Robinsons Convenience Stores, Inc. (RCSI), the exclusive master franchisee of Ministop in the Philippines.
