A TOTAL of P2.34 billion worth of agricultural crops were damaged in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and Northern Luzon, which were hit hard by typhoon “Rosita” (Yutu) last week, the Department of Agriculture (DA) said on Monday.

Latest data from the DA-Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Operation Center showed a total of 98,413 hectares of agricultural land in Ilocos (Region 1), Cagayan Valley (2), Central Luzon (3), and CAR suffered an estimated volume of production loss of 120,500 metric tons (MT).
