MOSCOW: A Russian Proton-M rocket successfully delivered a high technology cutting-edge space telescope into orbit Saturday (Sunday in Manila) after days of launch delays, Russia’s space agency said.
Roscosmos said the telescope, named Spektr-RG, can visually magnify where it is pointed more than 2,000 times the normal size, thus making it appear very near to naked eye.
