Head coach Boyet Fernandez is tempering expectations on his National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) three-peat champion team San Beda University when they compete in the stacked 2019 Philippine Basketball Association Developmental League (PBA D-League).
San Beda, then backed by Cignal, ruled the 2017 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup by beating the Racal Tile Masters behind guard Robert Bolick and forward Javee Mocon before opting to skip last year.
