With the warring factions within the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) ranks having finally buried the hatchet, preparations for the country’s hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) barely four months from now are expected to turn fever pitch.

The POC Executive Board had finally constituted a quorum and met last Friday in what is believed to have ended the almost two-year feud that led to the resignation of former president Ricky Vargas last June.
