The Senate on Wednesday unanimously approved on third and final reading the Rice Tarrification bill that aims to lift restrictions on rice importation.
Sen. Cynthia Villar, sponsor of Senate Bill 1998, accepted the proposed amendments made by Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto, Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, and Sen. Francis Pangilinan.
