Showbiz remains favorite topic of Filipinos on Twitter

Whatever happens, it happens on Twitter — the social media platform that used to restrict to only 140 characters per message or “tweet.” But starting November 17, 2017, this limit was doubled for all languages except Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Like last year, the Philippines’ Twitter timeline is again ruled by the entertainment industry in 2018. Filipinos have proven that Twitter is the go-to platform to track #WhatsHappening in showbiz, still the dominant conversation driver this year.
