THE island of Palawan, including the Calamian group, is under Signal No. 1 as tropical depression "Samuel" moves outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the state-run weather bureau said on Thursday morning.
"Samuel" was last located 75 kilometers (km) north of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour. (kph) and gustiness of up to 65 kph, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
