“FALCON” intensified into a tropical storm and was affecting parts of the country on Tuesday afternoon, the state-run weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) last spotted Falcon at 335 kilometers east-southeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan as of 4 p.m. It was moving west at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour (kph), carrying winds maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
