Singer Imelda Papin is contesting the victory of her rival, Camarines Sur Representative-elect Arnulfo Fuentebella.
Papin filed an election protest against Fuentebella on Monday at the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal.
She asked the tribunal to annul and set aside the proclamation of Fuentebella after a manual recount or revision of the ballots.
Fuentebella won with a 740 lead against Papin in the May 9 elections.
But Papin said there were over 24,000 votes that were declared invalid by the Commission on Elections.
