SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya: The local government unit here is strictly enforcing the regulatory use of plastics as containers for dry and wet goods bought from business establishments.
Mayor Eufemia Dacayo said the plastic ban is embodied in the Municipal Ordinance No. 2012-09-7 known as “An Ordinance Prohibiting the use of Plastics on Dry Goods and Regulating its Utilization on Wet Goods, Promoting the use of Eco-Bags and other Environment-Friendly Practices as Alternatives and Prescribing Penalties for Violations Thereof.”
